Hello my friends,
This week I will be sharing how to style white jeans with a variety of tops with different types of sleeves. Multiple sleeve styles, including bell, flounce, trumpet, batwing, angel–you name it!–as a fashion detail will continue to trend in 2017. White jeans will continue to be styled year round and can easily look perfect for summer and winter looks.
For my first look, I am styling white jeans from Lands End with these bright blue velvet booties and a navy top. The top has subtle bells sleeves. I saw these booties on Pinterest and kept going back to them until I decided I just had to have them! They were inexpensive, so I decided to go for it and order them, just for fun! They are a pretty bright color and I just love the velvet texture! What do all of you think of them? I would love to hear your opinions!

As I said, the jeans are from Lands End, and as I mentioned in a previous post, they are doing a really nice job with jeans. Many shapes, lots of sizes and colors, and custom hemming. These white ones are also treated to resist stains–very important for my white jeans which are like a magnet for dirt and stains! My top is from Chico’s as is my necklace. You can also wear the necklace long in a single strand, so can get more than one look from this. The top also has a nice back detail, as shown here:
Here I have added a darling cross-body bag my husband bought for me on our river cruise to Budapest two years ago. I love the bright blue leather with yellow and green. As I mentioned before, the Pantone color of the year is “greenery,” so I can see many ways to style this little bag! I like the way the blue picks up the bright blue velvet in the boots.
Here is another look, this time with my little dog, Scooter. He is always trying to get into the picture, so we thought we’d better just take one! He is a 13 year-old Cairn Terrier and is a very sweet dog.
I hope you have a wonderful Monday! Look for my posts on this topic throughout the week. I would love to hear from you!
Warmly,
Darlene
