I am putting this post together today, anticipating the next rainstorm expected to start tonight! Wow! We’ve had SO much rain for the past month and more is expected again next week. It’s a big step toward ending our drought, but I have to admit that it does get tiring!
Today, as promised, I am showing another look with white jeans. They are so versatile and can so easily be dressed up or down. Here I am styling them with a basic shirt and sweater.
My jeans are the “girlfriend” style from Chico’s and are super comfortable. My shirt is an old one, from Coldwater Creek! I kept it and have used it through the years due to the many colors in the print. My sweater is from–watch for it!–CostCo! Once again, while stocking up on paper towels and toilet paper, I spotted this sweater in a color that I am SO drawn to: teal. Obviously, blue-green shades like teal and aqua are my favorites and I think these colors look flattering on everyone!
I paired the outfit with an old pair of driving moccasins from Target. I love the pairing of teal with red, and the shirt does have a little spot of a pinkish-red color.(I adore the current trend of pairing pink and red as well!)
At the last minute, I had the inspiration for this necklace. It is an older piece, once again a gift from my husband. I love the vintage feel of this piece which makes it a true” statement” necklace, so I wore simple diamond studs with it. My watch is a Michelle from Nordstrom. I have bought both the solid silver color as well as the silver and gold watch bands and love it both ways!
So, basically, except for the inexpensive sweater, everything I am a styling was already in my closet. It is so fun to put old pieces together to create a new look and keep your look fresh, isn’t it? How do YOU put your wardrobe pieces together?
Until next time, best wishes to all.
